From South Africa- December 2010

We have just started work on the 2012 Revised Common Lectionary, Sermon outlines. Representatives  from the Anglican, Congregational, Methodist and Presbyterian churches got together to start work on an Ecumenical South African English edition. Until now, ministers had to rely on the UK and USA for sermon outlines and aids to the RCL. We hope to place a complimentary copy of the very first edition in the hands of every minister in South Africa. The texts have been allocated and minster/theologians now have to work on supplying sermon outline material for all the feast days and liturgical seasons of 2012.

Hope this causes you as much excitement as it does us.

Their website states "our mission is to reach out to the Baka (Pygmy) Tribe in Cameroon, Africa through holistic ministry to take care of the total man. By providing quality education, teaching this tribe community farming and reaching out to them with the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ."
